Easter - April 7th - April 13th

Sawyer got a horrible rash this week. We took him back to the doctors and she said the ear infection had cleared up, but he had a viral rash. Two days later he was running a fever again and we went back to the doctors. The ear infection came back. This is his first time to get sick and now he has had two ear infections back to back. He is such a trooper though.


Sawyer didn't let the rash and ear infection keep him from having fun at Easter. Clint kept telling him the rash was because he got bit by the Easter bunny. We went to the beach this week. Galveston looked nice along the seawall, but the rest of the island looked pretty rough.






On Easter Sunday, the Easter bunny came, we went to church, then went to a friend's house for lunch. Sawyer got to play with his buddy Karsten. We had a nice three day weekend. I always associate Easter with a feeling of renewal. Life has been crazy for us lately, but it was nice to have a slower weekend and really feel Christ's presence. Thank you Jesus for dying for our sins!
