Uncle A's visit

After Grammy's retirement party, Unlce A and Carolyn stayed for a whole week.  There was lots of swimming, "shot-ski" around the pool, lots of wrestling and a trip to the Wondertorium.  We also had a mustache themed birthday party for Uncle A.  This included mustaches to wear and a mustache pinata.  The boys had such a good time playing with Uncle A.

1994 Wrangler Sold!

The day finally came to sell the Jeep. I didn't think that it would happen, but in May 2014 (20 years almost to the day from purchase), after buying the minivan, we had to downsize. We had a lot of great times in the Jeep. Classic purchase experience with Grandpa in 1994, road trip to Alaska in 2002, cabin building, numerous trips to Colorado, first date with Melanie, top down trips in Tejas, and cruisin' the back roads of Oklahoma with the boys. We had so many memories with the Jeep. It was hard to part, but here's to a lot of great times!

Cute Babies of Spring

This precious boy loves his blankie.  He actually isn't particular to any one blankie, just the ones used on my sister and me for swaddling made by my great grandmother.

Sawyer is so gentle with animals.  He catches frogs and calmly holds them until they sit on his flat hand without jumping away.  Then he will walk around with his frog all afternoon.

Grammy's Retirement

Grammy retired this May!  Clint and I attended her reception at OSU.  It was very nice and busy.  She worked 39 years at OSU and when she retired was the most experience professor there.  Pam Brown gave a recognition speech and Kathy's accomplishments are phenomenal!

Uncle A and Carolyn came to town and we had a retirement luau at our house.  It was a lot of fun.  I planned the food and decorations and Adam and Carolyn had all kinds of fun things up their sleeves.  Carolyn's sister-in-law shipped us an athentic real flower lei from Hawaii.  They also brought flowers for hair, shell necklaces and a pineapple pinata!  We had delicious food and lots of fun.
