Halloween was a huge hit in our house. Sawyer was pretty obsessed with all the "creepy crawly" stuff, especially ghosts. We ransacked the library for books on ghost. We made a lot of ghost snacks and crafts. We drove the town looking for ghosts in people's trees. He even wrote a "creepy crawly" book. He loved the whole Halloween season. It was no surprise when he wanted to be a "pirate ghost" for Halloween. We were surprised by his creativity so we went along. It was even more surprising when we found the Scoobie Doo Pirate Ghost video at the library. His favorite cartoon and pirate ghosts!
Now Beau just rotated through the many baby costumes we had at home. It was simple and free!
We went to Kiddie Park for the Spook-a-rama with our friends Kale and Hayden. The trip was cut short because it was thundering and lightening.
We went trick-or-treating with Kale and Hayden too. The boys loved trick-or-treating. Sawyer would shout, "Boo" at the people instead of saying thank you. He told me, "That's how ghost say 'Thank You'." It was so cute I didn't have it in me to correct his bad manners. Our neighborhood gets a little crazy on Halloween so it is a great place to be. Besides the thousands of people walking the streets we saw a rock band in the back of a truck entertaining the masses and lots of creative costumes and house decorations.
