Our 2014 motto is Carpe Diem or "seize the day". Our hope for 2014 is that it is a steady state year (got to love using chemical engineering terms) with no major life changes. We hope to enjoy our precious family because these babies will not be babies for much longer. We hope we can make the most of every ordinary day we have this year.
We continued our tradition of a New Years Day hike. We hiked a trail at Lake McMurtry that we have never hiked before and we loved it. We have been back many times since. It was a cold drizzly day, but our little outdoor boys had no complaints. We finished the day with lamb roast, greens and black eyed peas with Grammy and Grandpa. It was a nice start to 2014.
