Sawyer Update

I have been posting monthly about Beau to capture his first year, but it has been a while since I have posted about Sawyer.  This kid is so precious.  He has such a sweet nature.  H e is definitely my little companion.  He is a daddy's boy through and through, but he is also his mommy's angel. I am blessed with such an easy two year old boy.

Right now he loves to hear stories.  We spend our day making up stories, telling stories about when we were kids, or telling stories about Sawyer.  He also tells everyone  "I am Baby, Angel, and Buckskin."  He thinks all of those are his name.  He also gives "Buckskin hugs".  They are his specialty.

Our biggest battle (and pretty much only battle) is getting dressed.  He is picky about what he wears (it normally doesn't match and most days I have no desire to fight that battle), and hates to be dirty or wet.  Clint and I are trying to work on it.

Sawyer talks all the time and in paragraphs, but Clint and I are the only ones who understand what he says.  He loves Parent's Day Out.  He is starting to learn his letters.  He loves to ride his bike, go to the park, and do anything his daddy does.  He mimics Clint exactly anytime the two are together.  It is pretty funny.

Sawyer has finally started giving us a big hearty laugh.  He makes lots of grunts and has a deep man voice anytime he is doing something manly.  Lately he has a stick in his hands all the time and it is either a gun, ninja sticks, or sword.  He knows the name of every piece of heavy machinery on the road.  He is obsessed with Thomas.  In fact, Clint is too right now (BORING).  Boys are wired so differently.

Sawyer is still a paci and blankie baby.

Sawyer loves his brother and is so gentle and thoughtful with him.

Sawyer is giving his two favorite guys a buckskin hug.

Sawyer is holding a strawberry from our garden.  He has been picking them everyday for us.
We love love love this precious child.  It amazes me everyday that I get to be his mommy.  I am pretty obsessed with the task right now.
