Paul loves all dogs and cats!
I finally got my minivan! I had been saving for years. It was kind of a crazy situation and Clint gets kuddos for making it happen. We let Jerry at Janzen in Stillwater know what we wanted, but never test drove there. We started looking for the right van. We even made an offer on one in Tulsa. We offered $2000 below the internet price. The sales manager told us we were crazy and had no basis for offering $8000 below the cost of the van. He told us flat out he would not deal with us as we were trying to explain that we were referring to the internet price. He had no clue what the van was listed on the internet. It was an awful experience. Then Jerry called and told us that to reach some regional sales contest goal with the prize being a trip to Mexico for the sales-people, the dealership had to sell one more car that very day. He gave us a great deal on a van. Clint negotiated and got them down another $1500 which was the price we were planning on paying for a used van but this one was brand new (supposedly it was a big loss to the dealership - whatever)! Clint brought the van home to me that evening and we never even test drove it! We sure do love it. Also I totally look like a mom minivan driver in this picture.
There is a window each spring where the Joyces, Walkers, and Aicheles have boys that are perfect stair steps spanning 9 years. Here is our picture with 10-9-8-7-6-5-4-3-2-1 year old boys and Isabel as the crowning jewel.
We had a silly string fight in the basement with the silly string from Easter. Beau and Paul were pretty frightened by the experience, but Sawyer and Clint had a blast. Now the clean up was a lot tougher than I expected. I guess you have to try everything once.
