Paul's first month was great. Our family quickly adjusted to having him around. He slept all the time and hardly even opened his eyes until the end of the month. When he finally opened his eyes, he made excellent eye contact. We only had 3-4 episodes of serious fussiness. One kept us up until 2 a.m. He began responding to baby talk in coos already. He also tries to smile (just a squinty face right now). He did have baby acne from the beginning. His skin is so white that it shows up more than the other boys. He loves being cuddled by mom (preferably by mom) and sleeping with us (hello number three). Perfect, sweet, beautiful.
Beau loves loves loves the baby. This month Beau was getting over the ear infections and doing so much better. He does the arm pump and talks in a deep voice right now. It is the most hilarious thing ever. Since he is normally in his iron man costume with fake muscles it makes it even better.
Sawyer ignores Paul for the most part. This is how he treated Beau. Now he can't do anything without Beau. Sawyer is suddenly really into stuffed animals and is such a good parent to them. He loves to take care of Beau and ride his bike.
