Paul turned six months old while we were in Colorado on July 10th. The past month was tough. He decided he only wanted his momma and wanted her to hold him all the time. He got so sick this month with an ear infection. His fever was over 101 degrees for several day and he cried constantly. He wouldn't stop crying unless I was holding him, bouncing him, standing. He wouldn't sleep either. It may have been my biggest parenting challenge yet.
Now when his momma was holding him (and he's not sick), he is a total charmer. He laughs hysterically at Beau. Just seeing his brothers makes him smile. He loves his daddy too and is totally content with his dad holding him, unless he's hungry. He loves bath time and laying on his play mat. Clint and I feel like he is one of the smiliest people we have ever met. His sleeping is slowly improving and he goes down for a short morning nap without a problem. He's still not taking a good nap during the day though.
This month Beau really figured out how to ride his trike. He also really stepped up at swim lessons. He refused to get in at first, but on his own decided to go in with the other kids and did great. He is not strong willed, but he does things according to his own little mind.
Sawyer this month started to get into legos. He is a little fish. He is an easy, happy, obedient kid until he gets exhausted or over stimulated. Then its emotional breakdown. Clint and I are getting pretty good at predicting his episodes. We recognize when we are pushing him too much.
