Paul turned five months old on June 9th. It makes me want to cry. So his fifth month was from May 9th - June 8th. He is doing better on his sleep schedule, but I still have to be pretty on top of my game to get him to take his naps. He still wakes up at 3:00 am in the middle of the night to feed, but since he goes to bed at 7:00 I don't think it's too bad. Actually I would not give up my co-sleeping time with him for anything (he sleeps with me from 3:00 am to morning and may nurse continuously. Not sure.) He is really grabbing for stuff now and can get a toy to his mouth. He gums on his arms constantly. He never stops moving and throws himself back. It makes me a little nervous for when he starts being mobile. He is sooo happy, smiley, giggly, and easy. If it wasn't for the sleep issue, he is definitely my most easy going baby. He still only likes his mom, dad, and brothers to mess with him. He almost rolled over from back to stomach in an effort to watch television. He gets into an all out belly laugh by just watching Beau. I have a feeling those two will run circles around me.
Beau is starting to look a lot less like a baby and more like a boy. Some of his most said phrases are "oopsie", "be careful mommy", "don't lost that mommy", "It's ok, it's ok", "I wanna wrestle", "On your mark, get set, GO". He has such a deep voice for a two year old. He has figured out how to jump down from stuff and especially loves to jump from a chair onto Clint when they are wrestling. He is getting great at ball and loves to play catch with Clint. He loves bugs and just picks up any bug with his hands.
Sawyer is still our nature boy. We spend a lot of time outside and he never stops looking at stuff. He loves frogs, bugs, and lizards. The boys will spend a long time building roly poly "habitats" and campfires in the back yard. Sawyer's imagination is finally starting to fly. He might see bandits on the horizon and have to drop bombs (rocks) on them or a million other scenarios when playing outside.
